About Me

My photo
Annette Kelly
I have been married to my wonderful husband Dan since 2002. We have two sons: Jack and William. Our son Jack was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes June 28, 2006. My son, Jack, and I were chosen to serve as delegates for the 2009 Children's Congress. We were flown to DC and met with President Obama, Senators Levin and Stabenow and Congressman McCotter's Staff. The Special Diabetes Bill was signed once again allowing for research and development to proceed on finding a cure for type one diabetes. I am a recent advocate of DAN! Defeat Autism Now. Our son William was diagnosed with Autism On July 6, 2010. He was later diagnosed with Apraxia of Speech. We thank God every day for blessing us with our two wonderful boys and strive to be great parents for them. I make a constant effort to be a voice of support for families who deal with multiple diseases and disorders. These children are precious miracles on loan from God.
